Oh Mom...
"I love Charles Ingalls. He's so nice. And don't you just love it when he cries?" says Toothless Fairy after watching two full episodes of our recorded Little House series. I'm looking at my 8 year old, who is positively smitten with Michael Landon, his eyes, his hair, his sensitive side. ;) And I must admit, I too, was very much in love with Charles Ingalls, and I knew that if I had lived in those days, life would have been a piece of cake. Because what else do you need besides a cool dad like Charles Ingalls?

ReplyDeleteOh me too - I always adored Pa Ingalls. I was always Laura when we played Little House on the Prairie whilst my sister would prowl around with a blindfold on pretending to be Mary. Such fun.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite was the one where the rats got into the barn and they all went down with some plague like thing - I remember sobbing in that one!
I loved that show when I was little! I so wouldnt have made it back then!

Little House on U-Tube?! I'm doomed, lol. My 8 yo watched the entire first season during our snow storms. Next we will read the books (once we finish the Birchbark House books)and then I will have to let the cat out of the bag that there are more episodes. Thanks to that show my house smelled like Lemon Verbena for a month lol. My daughter fell in love with Miss Beetle (as opposed to Pa lol).
